I always thought I was a cyclist… until I met triathlon.

I started swimming as leisure activity as a kid. Whenever outdoor I would always reach for the bike getting then into amateur cycling at age 14-15. During the years after I developed a passion for hill climbing and long distance cycling (non competitive Granfondo events especially between 100 and 130 km).

In 2014 I moved from Italy to Toronto without leaving the bike behind. In 2021 I moved from Toronto to Guelph and to escape the winter indoor training I started as a challenge to run outdoor. Looking for a place where to get back into the swimming pool and for a cycling club I found the Guelph Triathlon Club joining during the fall of 2022.

In 2023 I did the first Subaru Triathlon at Guelph Lake getting a 5th position in the age group. Since I liked the feeling and loved the sport I registered for the first time to the race that became my favorite Subaru event, Owen sound, with a third place in the age group. 2024 moved the bar up doing the first 70.3 in Muskoka, loved the experience and 5 minutes under my own time goal was a great success in my books! 2025 I signed up for the whole Subaru series (5 events) winning the points championship. In 2026… moved the bar up once again registering for the first full distance 140.6 event… coming up in November 2026. As a non competitive athlete I do love the variety that triathlon gives to the sport and training hours, enjoy being outdoor.

My goal as a coach is to invite as many people as possible to love doing sport for the joy of doing it without necessarily being competitive!
