
GTC’s regular weekly Open Water Endurance Swim workout. A lifeguard and kayak are present at every swim.
✔️ Swimmers must stick to the designated swim times (see below).
🚫 No swimming outside of these times is permitted.
⏳ Please pace your session so you can finish your final lap and exit the water before the swim time ends.
❌ Lingering in the water after the session ends is not allowed.

Cold-Water Swim Safety Policy
With the cooler fall weather upon us, safety becomes our top priority at the Quarry.
To ensure everyone’s well-being, the GTC will follow Triathlon Ontario’s open-water safety guidelines:

By treating our club swims as if they were sanctioned triathlon events, we can keep everyone safe while maximizing our time in the open water this fall.
Note:
Tuesday and Sunday morning endurance swims are not instructed. These swims are a great opportunity for members of all abilities to practice swim techniques and swim at your own pace. A coach and a lifeguard in a kayak are always present.
